F-1 : Stands for the first generation cross between the Asian Leopard Cat and domestic cat.

F-2: Stands for the second generation cross.

F-3: Stands for the third generation cross.

F-4: Stands for the fourth generation cross which The International Cat Association calls SBT (Stud Book Tradition). This means the Bengal is eligible for competition and is fully accepted as a domestic cat.

In our breeding program, we use Bengals at least four generations or more removed from the Asian Leopard Cat.
